How to Train a Poodle

Poodles are beautiful to look at and they are make keen hunting companions. they have admirable work instincts, and are great in learning and performing tricks. Poodles are known to be agile and athletic. They are quite a versatile dog breed.

Poodles come in different varieties. There are standard types that excel in hunting and working. There are also miniature poodles and toy poodles that are often used for show and performances.

Poodles have dense curly coats. They shed minimally but their fur still needs regular grooming. Their coats can be groomed to almost any style. Most people will enjoy styling their poodles coats and the dogs seem to enjoy it as well.

Poodles are very eager to please. They are affectionate and never aggressive towards their people. They are considered social butterflies among humans and animals and are known to be very amiable. Poodles are naturally good with children. They are warm and playful with their young masters and mistresses. But this can only be achieved through extensive socialization while the Poodles are still young.

Play time is essential for this breed. Always try to find time to play with them. They may not require vigorous exercises but they need their regular dose of accompanied play and training.

They can adapt well in any type of living conditions. Poodles do not require expansive living areas to be happy. Apartment living is good enough for them to be happy at home. House training Poodles is amazingly easy as they are naturally clean and with consistent training they will understand where the appropriate spot to use the bathroom is.

Having a well-trained Poodle as a companion will make you a fanatic of the breed. They are fun, funny, friendly, loyal, and loving pets.
